INTRODUCING: Poetry for the Weekend

20140606-172916.jpg

PFTW is a new segment on mellowdic.com.

As the name possibly alludes, some internal (M)™ writers will be blessing us with their written eloquence on a weekly basis.

I have been personally inspired by all of these poets and want you all to read and experience their brilliance.

PFTW will run most Fridays at 7pm and will be announced prior on the twitter page.

God bless and enjoy.

If you write, or wish for your poetry to be featured on mellowdic.com or PFTW specifically please send examples of your work to mellowdic@outlook.com

It’s Only Man

20140323-161326.jpg

It’s only man that prays for a car then complains about traffic.
It’s only man that prays for academic admission then complains about exams.
It’s only man that prays for a job then complains about 6am.
It’s only man that prays for freedom then complains about responsibility.
It’s only man that prays for relationships then complains about compromise.
It’s only man that prays for security then complains about cages.
It’s only man that prays for purpose then complains about pressure.

It’s only man that prays for a dream to become reality…

then complains about waking up.
