Good.

Here’s a new track from a rapper that recently came to my attention; EscalatorUp is a Hip-Hop artist based in Texas, he’s working on a project called ‘Nothing But A Rapper’ which will be released in the next few months; I for one, can’t wait.

I’m excited by this guy’s delivery, flow and general confidence on the mic. Listen up, you’ll be impressed.

Project Release: Charles The Kid – FTLOR Vol.1 EP

FTLOR Vol.1 is a new instrumental project by up-and-coming London beat-maker Charles The Kid.

The tape showcases five carefully selected beats from Charles’ rapidly building catalogue.

Charles describes his sound as ‘Hip-Hop Orchestra Ambient Music’; FTLOR Vol.1 demonstrates Charles’ sampling ability and takes the listener on a journey through a broad spectrum of vibes.

Heres what Charles had to say about the project:

“I call this music with authority an authentic aura of sound. A deep clash of emotions through life’s tribulations, the loss of loved ones. The highs and lows and the BIG laughs too with this karma riddled society. When I don’t speak, my music certainly does the talking,”

…and we certainly listen!
