UK rapper K.J Palmer returns alongside fellow Nottingham artist KAi with a brand new tune entitled ‘Manslaughter’ a smooth jazz influenced hip-hop track mixed with trippy, eclectic sounds which are sure to resonate with both new school & old school lovers of hip-hop alike.
K.J begins the track with a nostalgic chorus and then enters his verse with an reminiscent approach to lyrical articulation; whilst new kid on the block, KAi introduces himself to the masses with heavy handed punch lines & flamboyantly engaging aphorisms.
The relaxed but electric manner of Manslaughter is set to be complemented by an equally resonating visual, capturing the subtly penetrating jazz melodies and drum beats.Expect more genre-defying music from both artists before the year is up with KJ Palmer’s highly anticipated EP ‘Perception is Reality’ just around the corner.
KJ on point as ever!
Stay alive to this.
More from KJ:
Him.
We are friends then lovers
Not lovers, but kissing, touching
Whispering sweet nothing’s
That mean nothing.
His hands find me below but
Never reach deep enough
They make me moan
But his words keep me crying.
I feel a pang every time he tells me about someone new
But I still laugh along, still texting my other man
The lines are so blurred I don’t know where
We end and we begin
I find myself echoing his thoughts
But changing them last minute to seem cool.
Him
We are friends then lovers
Not lovers, but kissing, touching
Whispering sweet nothing’s
That mean nothing.
To him.
